“While training, I was working in an office and my first day there, a patient called and said her son had a bad toothache on one of his baby teeth. She said a previous doctor had told them the tooth has a cavity, but she did not have to worry about getting it extracted because it was not a permanent tooth, but the tooth was causing him pain. I added her to the schedule and she came in with her three kids. We put on a cartoon to help keep her kids settled down while we checked in her son. The doctor examined him and extracted the tooth. She was so pleased she made appointments for her other children and became a patient for life.”
